CommuteEasy uses an advanced geo code based search algorith that ensures you are presented with the most relevant results.
The search is incremental in nature. Eg: If the application doesnt find a sufficient number of results within 1 km of your start and destination locations, it extends the radius to include more users in the search. This is made possible as our integration with google maps allows the recording of exact geo co-ordinates of the users are captured against their profile.
Along with this, CommuteEasy also enables preference based searches to allow women only pools, allowing search for poolers in a certain age group and so on.
Additionally Commuteeasy also provides you links to social profiles of its members at orkut/facebook etc (if the member so chooses) in order to enable a certain level of interest matching before pooling.
